What Toastmasters club membership could mean to you

Joining a Toastmasters club is easy. With 11,300 clubs in 90 countries around the world, you will be joining an organization that knows how to help its members attain their goals.  Five years in a row of Carylina Toastmasters attaining Toastmasters highest awards prove this.

The people that are toastmasters, come from a variety of occupations and backgrounds. They include doctors, auto mechanics, executives, teachers, homemakers, artists, college students, supervisors, attorneys, engineers, salespersons and more. You will most likely find that there will be someone from your backgrond is a member of our club. You just need to be at least 18 years of age to become a member of Toastmasters.

Is Toastmasters membership worth the investment?
Have you ever paid $100 for a one-day seminar? You probably won't pay that for an entire year of Toastmasters. A one time $20 new-member new member kit fee, then only $39 every six months is the entire cost of membership.

Our club mission is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

While this is a self-paced organization, and you can do as much as you would like, club participation is utmost to attain your goals. When you join toastmasters, you sign an agreement that you will participate in meetings and toastmasters (see below). We want you to feel comfortable with our club and help you attain your goals. If you are ready to leave the butterflies behind and improve your communications and leadership skills, come to the next meeting and ask any officer about membership.
