Carylina Toastmasters Meeting

When you visit one of our Monday meetings, here's what you may expect to see: The goal of each meeting is to give every member an opportunity to speak. The evening is divided into 3 main parts:

  • Prepared Speeches
  • Table Topics
  • Evaluations

There are also several other roles that Toastmasters perform that provide speaking opportunities and keep the meeting flowing smoothly. These include the Toastmaster who sets the agenda and introduces each participant, the Ah Counter who listens for crutch words like "ah" and "um", the Timer who keeps track of the speech times, and a  Humorist who sets the happy mood for the meeting.

In a nutshell, we learn through participation, motivation, execution and feedbacks. Come to one of our meetings and find out for yourself.  Click here for directions.
